boring a 22re lazer block .060" over
ive heard of people doing it and having good results just curious where to get pistons, and if its worth doing? are there any other options with this block like resleeving? ive heard its expensive but never priced it . any insight? its a spare block sitting in my garage and its .040 over now and there are no hone marks , im going to have it checked to see if its within spec for .o40 but if not id like to be able to still use it. ive also got 2 early 22r blocks with the talle deck, any options there? id rather not do the hybrid and id like to keep it efi but ive thought about doung a weber setup also. basicly im just looking for expert opinions. thanks guys and this is a great forum, you guys seem to be more knowledgabe on performance than the other forums where ive been posting for a while.

should be OK to go .060 over -- that'd be a 1.5mm oversize piston. have the shop check the size of the bore, if it's still in spec, just rehone it and go. if not, you can go to 1.5mm over.

not too sure about that -- on these engines, for the most part you've got .5mm, 1mm, or 1.5mm. i think LC sells some 2mm over pistons, but i don't know if i'd recommend going that far.
