auto shifter
ok i searced and found the wobbly shifter thread and it says the cure for a wobbly AUTOMATIC shifter are some bushings that are $1.50 a piece at the stealership. i thought no big deal. i go to my local toyota dealer and they say that there aren't any bushings in automatics only standards? i was confused. he said only linkage in there. ok so either this guy doesn't know what hes talking about or am i crazy? anyone out the have a part number for this mystery bushing? help me out guys

don't have the part number but it's in there. get him to zoom in on the exploded view of the shifter assembly and you will see them. there are four i think on the drive shifter and a couple for the transfer shifter.

There are 3
There are 3 bushings, two on the shifter itself and one down by the tranny linkage.
The part #'s are for the 94' 3.0 auto are 90385-11003 for the two top bushings that go right under shifter and 90480-17177 for the one under the truck by the tranny.

Yep they exost, I made some bronze ones instead, but I have a lathe.
THe real fun is taking that shifter apart to get to them. Dont do what I did and forget to put the wires back in before reassembling it, or the shifter slides, or the well you the the idea.
