"91 4-runner headlight replacement

Is it necessary to pull off the grill to replace the headlamp. I can see 3 out of the 4 screws that I need to pull (drivers side) but can't see the one on the top right, maybe if I use the aduster I would be able to see it. Toyota told me $77 just for the labor, you don't want to know what they told me for the headlamp.
Thanks for any advice,
Gary

I've not done my 4Runners yet but from what I can tell you may need to remove the coolant bottle and the battery. Not sure though

you can undo all those clips, or just force the bezel out of the way...

wait your just changing the head light? its easy there are 4 screws that hold the metal bezel on securing the lamp. 2 on top 2 on bottom u can get a screw driver in and get them our the grill is slightly in the way with the top two but u can do it. best thing to get them back in and not loose the screws is have a good magnetized screw driver. U might drop the screws a couple times so be in an area where u can see them easily (i did mine in the dirt not fun trying to find a small screw in). there really is no need to completely take of the grill and definitely no need to pay the stealership 77 dollars to do a 20 min job. everything can be accessed from the front no need to remove any bottles or batteries.

Thanks for the info, my only problem is I can't see the top right screw, that's why I wondered if by turning the adjuster screw it would move it into view. I can see all 4 screws on the driver side. BTW they wanted $117 for the lamp when you can buy one at the parts store for $9.99. simply ridiculous!

On my 94 I just took out the battery, washer fluid tank, intake box and coolant over flow to change the lights though the back.

Your 91 maybe different because of the square lights, but thats what i did for mine.

Ya the 94 head lights are different then the 91's. JUst look to where the 4 bolts are on the driver side and look for them on the passenger side i think its kinda hard to see cause its under the mount for the washer fluid tank.but if u pop your hood and just kind poke around u will find it
