7/8" vs. 15/16" wheel cylinders on my 89
I have a leaking 7/8" wheel cylinder on my 89 4X4. Advance Auto offers the 15/16" for $17.99 and are in stock. The 7/8" are $55.XX and have to order them. My question is are they interchangeable and if so would it be ok to do so? I like to change them in pairs and spending $110 for wheel cylinders is too high, $36 sounds a lot better. Thanks

It's just a personal preference in my replies so I can see where and what I said. All of the black/white just runs together. Is it hard to read?
Thanks for looking!!
Here is a linky to ORielly's. They do list two. Both are 7/8 and one is $16.99 and I have to call about the other. They don't even have a listing for the 15/16". I will call them tomorrow. We deal with them at work quite a bit.
Thanks for the help.

I wonder if those 15/16's aren't reman'd and the 7/8's are brand new? That might explain the two sizes. That is if they took 7/8's cylinders and honed them out to 15/16's. Might explain the price difference. Just speculating, mind you.
If you have a Napa in your area, the Wagner's they offer are really good parts. I have some in my '86.
