22re Coolant problem
Hey guys,
I drove back to school from the mall today, stopped at the front of the building for a few minutes to let some people out, and then as I pulled away I heard a strange noise for a second from the front drivers side of the engine compartment. I didn't think anything of it and I drove the 1/8 mile to where I park, and got out and noticed wetness all around the drivers side front suspension and stuff, even on the mudflap. It was not water, and I determined it was coolant. I opened the coolant overfill reservoir and it was full to the brim and the little overflow hose had splash marks out of it.
I am not in the habit of overfilling my coolant system... any idea why so much coolant ejected out of the overflow tank?

I'd replace the Thermostat and the radiator cap. All the books will tell you to test them but they're so damn cheap just get new ones.
T-stat replacement is probably the easiest (besides the cap ) maintnence you'll ever do to a yota =)
