1993 4runner cutting out - Please Help??
Hi All,
Wondering if someone can please help me.
I have a 1993 4runner which I bought 14 years and it’s never missed a beat since. However, it has recently been cutting out on me just after start-up! The truck runs for a second or two but then the engine cuts out, all power still seems to flow and I have check for engine faults but no codes are showing.
Originally, I thought it could be the fuel lift from the tank but that seems to be working and as it only happens occasionally, I'm thinking it could be an electrical fault. Before I go multimeter ever wire in the truck or changing over all the ignition wiring, looming, ECU and engine wiring harness - does any know a diagnostic kit that can find electrical faults with the toyota 4 runner kzn130 3.0 TH (1993 Surf) or have any other ideas about what could be stopping the fuel reaching the Denzo Pump?
Thanks. G
