third removal-leave brake lines attached?

Quick dumb question- can I pull my front and rear thirds out without removing brake lines ? Dont need to pull axles any farther then just getting them out of carrier. Its not a big deal, I just am trying to guesstimate the amount of time I need to accomplish a carrier swap in both ends. I did search but ran out of time looking and thought it may be easier to just ask.
Thank you in advance.

There isn't much spare line to do it this way. I would just plan on removing them from wheel cylinder, then bleed when you're all done.

I've done my rear and I don't think there is enough play in the hard lines. And anyway it isn't a good idea to leave the axles sitting in the tubes, they'll be sitting on the seals and possibly deforming them. While they're out is a good time to replace the seals anyway

disconnect the rear wheel cylinders and cap them with vacuum caps.

Thanks guys, Now I know to check my bleeders prior to starting the project- if they snap I can make sure I have spares when I get going. I am limited on space so I need not tie up my only bay here for too long.
