I have all the parts for a conversion, but the fuel tank (to be street legal in Ontario) has to be mounted rock solid to the frame and certified, and the lines to the regulator up front need to be run by the certification shop. Otherwise, I am ready to do it but the drawbacks--locating fill stations on road trips, re-filling out in the wild yonder, lowered fuel economy, re-certifying every 5 years to stay street legal. Watch out for all these draw-backs. Do not believe what gotpropane.com says about fuel econ....You MUST expect to lose 25% of your fuel econ. If you don't then great!!! But not likely. Propane just has less energy in it(per gallon) than gasoline, but it does burn cleaner. The only way the conversion pays for itself is if propane is REALLY cheap, but it's not right now. BUT it does operate fantastic off road on any angle. I may sell the equipment and simply use the money to install factory EFI. Way simpler.
