Idle Bump for A/C - Need Help Please
I have finally gotten my A/C working in my truck. It's now completely converted to a R134A system. Everything is working great except the fact of when you turn on the A/C it doesn't increase the idle to compensate for the load. Where does the vac line run to 'bump' the idle up when the A/C is on? I can't find where the hell this is supposed to be hooked up. This is the line with the filter on it just left of the intake hose. Below is a picture of it. Any help to let me know where this vac line goes would be appreciated. I did check the FSM and it doesn't indicate where it's supposed to be connected.

Its connected to the proper place. But that piece isn't for the AC anyways. Thats there on any rig. The purpose of that is to let the idle down slow from high revs.
The AC idleup is located middle of the intake....should be a white plastic/metal looking piece with a spring in the middle of the assembly, and two vacuum lines running to it. Sorry, none of my 22re's have AC or I would show you.

Oooooooooooooooooooo - I presumed that this was for the A/C as it was directly connected to the linkage, I thought it was odd I couldn't find anywhere it went to!! 
I will take a look for the piece you described. You say it's a white plastic/metal piece w/ 2 vac lines. Ok, I will go check it out. If anyone can shoot me over a picture of the route for the vacuum lines on that piece I'd appreciate it (or let me know the page in the FSM to look @!)

I fopund it!! WOO HOO!! Thanks for the tip Cougar! It is the screw headed white piece on the DS of the intake. I got it to kick up the idle after turning out the screw.

Yeah, I basically found it, then checked the idle w/o the A/C - then turned the A/C on and turned the screw until the idle matched the same RPM w/o the A/C on. It's really helped!! Thanks again for being a great source guys!
It would be nice if the FSM had covered this little setting in the A/C section of the manual!
