Hornblaster's train horn + onboard air

I'm looking to kill two birds with one stone here.

1. I want to replace my factory "Road-Runner beep beep" Toyota horn with something with some punch.

2. I want onboard air available for trail use.

I was thinking of going with the http://www.hornblasters.com/ Conductors Special Kit

Part Number: HB4H5G28

Kit Includes:
4 Black Finish Horns
5 Gallon 7 Port Tank (34"L 8"W)
Viair 280C Compressor
Viair 110/150psi Pressure Switch
Replacement Air Filters
20' of 1/4" D.O.T. Approved Airline
Electric Valve/Solenoid
All Fitting & Mounting Hardware
Detailed Instructions

I think the compressor can also be used for air suspension according to the website. I was wondering if I could use it for an onboard air system instead.

Besides, the horns are loud as hell. There are vids on the website that are pretty cool.

Any thoughts or ideas?

Deal.

I first heard them on an Escalade down in South Beach Fla. back in 2002. I knew I wanted one then, but they were $2500.00

I figue if I can do this it'll be functional & scary cool too.

That would be pretty awesome. I like the Road Runner beep on the Toys. That way people know they are getting honked at by a Toyota instead of a monster truck.

I wish I could claim ownership of the idea. It gets funnier the more I watch it.

yes, there is something about those videos that is so viscerally funny that makes it difficult not laugh. plus, as a middle class white, professional male there are very few legal ways of creating that much havoc. makes me feel all warm inside

hahahaha i cant believe how much horn blasters has grown. ÅÅÅÅ i remember when that guy started selling those kits out of his garage on S10forum with a single page website.

thata a great kit, louder then hell. and the trumpets are suprisingly good quality for being plastic.

here's my tip though. check out suicidedoors.com

(direct link)
http://www.suicidedoors.com/4-PCTrai...ompleteKit.php

they are a horn blasters dealer and sell the kits cheaper then hornblasters does. plus it comes with a better viar compressor

see, it pays to have a minitrucker on a toyota offroad board

Here's my story:
http://www.midiwall.com/4Runner/airhorns.html

They work pretty well. The downside is all the room that gets eaten up by the horns and the air tank.
