Could it be worse-spree of breaking my truck

Well in the last month I have managed to sling a U-joint cap out of the front knuckle, ground the rear chunk, blew the head gasket, blew a radiator hose, and now I have a ticket for improper fenders... So much for building my own damn flatbed. But all I have left to fix is the head gasket and front driveshaft.

So is it safe to say you meant front driveshaft, in your 1st sentence? Cause I'm wondering how/why you managed to put U-joints in a closed knuckle... Or if you had Toylet front diff... Or whats up... And I saw your last sentence and it said driveshaft...

Yes, the front driveshaft. It has 3 u-joints. Unless BFE stands for broke freakin engine, then guess not, lol.

I went to high school in Allec(Alexandria) Went to ASH for a bit. I know all about the Cane River, did alot of fishing there. Even dated a gal from Nackotish...

Dont sweat the truck issues... Repairs only make it better, right? And its a good reason to spend money we dont have. LOL!

Do you mean Natchitrash, lol? Well, the driveshaft is fixed, the head gasket is replaced and back together, and I finally bead blasted all the dirt and mud off the header. Found a broken tooth on the distributor gear and hopefully the rain will keep up so I can go test the truck out later on this afternoon. rokblok, where are you located? In Alex?

It runs again... Now why is it that I can blow the head gasket between cylinders 1 & 2, and between 3 &4, but still cant get the heater to blow hot air? Oh well, it runs and I am a happy toyota driver once again. Now just have to figure out what to do with the 4 door jeep parked out back, lol!

No longer in Alex. Been outta there for many years. Although I still have friends in Deville area so I visit them once in a while. I been meaning to get over there for some duck hunting...

Glad your truck is going again. Mine is running strong, but I am asking alot out of the 22R... 33s, 75-80mph, 1500miles/week... but it never complains just keeps on screaming down the highway. Clacking and clattering and sounding more like a diesel everyday...
