calipers, which side?
OK, i feel kinda silly asking this but here goes. I am in the proccess of a long and involved brake overhaul. Drums, shoes, hardware, cylinders, pads, rotors, calipers, and booster. Anyways I got hung up on some other stuff that slowed me down. I had already purchased my calipers and taken the old ones back for core. Now i feel stupid cause I don't know which goes on which side. Should the bleeder valve be at the top or bottom after install? 85 4runner

Thats what I thought. Just wanted to be sure cause brakes are kinda helpful with the stopping and what-not. Thanx. So how do you know Wabbit?
Oh yeah, how about the springs? Or wires or whatever you want to call them. I have a long one that goes on the side and holds the pins in. And there is an "M" shaped one. The "M" shaped one goes between the pads and around the pins I think. Looks like it will go on either the top or bottom pin, does it matter?
BTW my old ones were different thats why I dont know whats going on.
