Bilstein shocks unavailable for 85 4runner??

I am trying to order Bilstein shocks for my 1985 4runner with a 2-inch lift. I am being told Bilstein doesn't make them. Anybody else running Bilsteins on their 84-85 pickup/runner with a lift? If so, do you remember your part #'s? I have a suspension lift maybe up to 2 inches. If Bilstein is truly unavailable, how does OME compare? Frustrating.

Thanks,
JARED

OME makes good stuff. I wouldn't hesitate to run them.

From what I know, you would have to get front shock towers to install Bilsteins, such as what Trail Gear offers. And for the rear, Davez offers an upper shock mount with weld on tabs to mount the lower part on the diff.

All of these upgrades are weld-on pieces, except the OME. They would bolt on in the stock locations. But your suspension travel would be a bit more limited unless you went with the other components and longer shocks. It depends on what you're going to be doing with the truck...

Bilsteins for a lifted '84 Toyota pickup?

Looking for Bilsteins for the '84 Toyota. 4Wheel Parts said they don't exist. Their website sizing tool was ready to sell me four of them. Decided to call and verify. All 4 had upper and lower mounts using through bolts, and of course the '84 Toyotas have a stud style upper shock mount.

These

look like they'd work, but no lengths are offered - compressed, extended, etc. Nor do they offer any for the rear of the truck.

Looking to see if anyone knows more. I have the original shock mounts.

I'm removing Rancho RS5017s all around. Compressed length - 15".
Extended length - 25".

Resting on the truck - 18.75". These are stem bae to center of (lower) mounting hole.

Thanks for any help!

Hitsusa. Are those shocks for a 2"lift? Or are they stock length

Rancho RS9000XL, 4" lifted Toyota truck

Thanks for the reply, hitsua. You like them?

I kept looking and found some Rancho RS9000XL 8-way adjustables on sale for $450 shipped and no tax. Reviews were great and they fit the truck with its 4" lift.

They rock! I seriously overthought my suspension problem. Everyone I'd talked to said the springs were off a 1 ton something or other, hence the tractor-like ride. Nope. Dummy, it was just the shocks. The ride on 1 or 2 (softest) is great. The ride with 1000lbs in the back and the fronts on 3 and rears on 4 also works well. So, so far so good. Very satisfied. Lifetime warranty.

My only complaint is that there aren't any directions for any bolt torque specs - minor detail, but a detail I like knowing nonetheless.
