85 Pickup G52 Trans Reverse Switch = Fill Plug?

Tried this in the newbie section with no response.
Rebuilt a G52 transmission and gear driven transfer case. All of the documents I've looked at say there is a filler plug on the trans but this G52 does not seem to have one. I'm thinking that the reverse switch might double as the fill plug. Someone out there must have run into this.
Thanks,
-chaz

The plug on the drivers side has a torx head and the words "Do Not Remove" on it.
