85 extracab driveshaft length with crawler case

does anyone know if a swb rear drive shaft will work with a 85 extra-cab with a crawler case I twisted the shaft like a wash cloth, When the crawler case was put in , they did away with the carrier barring so it a one piece shaft. So I was thinking maybe with the extra length with the crawler case maybe a short wheel base drive shaft might work. any thoughts or opinions? thanks

You can have your drive shaft re-tubed with heavy wall tubing, to any length. Measure flange to flange and visit a drive line shop. It cost me $100. per shaft when I've had it done.
