I really thank you man I had an 85 2wd 22re and it pulled my 14' boat no problem at all and my current 82 that is 4x4 has the 22r with new weber carb rebuilt head and Doug thorley headers and I have the upgraded brakes you run on yours so I'm gonna just do some praying and to be honest if it can't do the job I'm doing a engine upgrade somewhere down the line anyway so screw it, I guess that's just my love for fishing and.the outdoors and like you said.toyotaboy I'm confident in my ol yota too brother these things are.hard to beat

I just wanted to tell everyone thanks for the help and let Yall know that the ol green machine did its job pullin the boat. It did really well stopping and the only thing that was just a lil bad was when I went up the huge Mississippi river bridge and it slowed a lil but other than that it was great and on top of that I had a blast on the water. So the conclusion my 82 is pretty much stock with.headers, weber carb, 31" tires and pulled this 1800 pound boat with no problem at all and I ran 70mph on the freeway. Gotta love a 22r
