Rear Bumper Questions
Hey Everyone,
I've been looking around for a couple of days, and finally decided to register.
You all have some great looking machines.
I'm going to fabricate a rear bumper, and I was wondering the following:
1.) what size/type of steel stock did anyone use to build off the rear frame?
(i.e. : 2X2 channel, angle, flat bar, etc.)
2.) how did you work around the rearmost bed body mounts?
(mine stick down about 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch into the frame channel)
3.) swing out tire carriers...love em'? hate em'?
Thanks in advance for all your opinions!

Scuba,
Thanks for the link.
I must suck at searching, because it didn't hit when I looked earlier.
I guess if flat stock is good enough for Marlin, it'll work for me.

The search function here doesn't work so well...I'd actually google search it. You can do an "advanced google search", and enter yotatech.com + what you're searching for. Here's an example straight from Pirate : "site: pirate4x4.com 7mge motor swap". Anyways, if you want to search something I'd do that rather than use the yotatech search function.
Welcome! And don't worry, people are pretty nice around here, even if you ask stupid simple questions a lot (like me).
