Question propane problem

I converted my 82 toyota pickup to run off propane. its been pretty good except for one problem. the truck dies if the heater is not on. the converter looks frozen over and has a layer of frost. i let it thaw and the truck runs again. its too hot out for the heater to be constantly on.

does anyone have experience with propane conversions?

might try emailing Corey at Gotpropane.com
he might have an idea for a simple solution. Propane runs cold as a gas. interesting issue. Might also try searching on Pirate 4x4's Toyota folder
search before you post...they flame newbs with a passion there...but I think you would will find a lot more members run propane there than YT..

curious what kit you used? I would love to convert to propane.

How is the vaporizer plumbed into the cooling system? If it gets it hot water from the heater line, then you would probably need to have the heater valve open to get hot coolant through it to vaporize the LPG.
