Loosing brake fluid
Ok I have a problem If my vacuum line is hooked up I will use brake fluid but if I unhook it and plug the line I lose none. If the master cylinder was leaking it would fill the booster if the vacuum line was hooked up or not correct. If the booster had a hole to where it was sucking fluid in the engine the power brakes would be stiff correct?

I bet it would smoke if you were somehow burning the brake fluid. Is that what you meant?
If you are careful you might be able to unbolt the mc from the vacuum booster and pull it away a little from the booster, to see inside and if there is fluid in the booster. Also it might be leaking into the cab along the brake shaft that goes through the firewall.
How much are you losing, with the line hooked up?

When the booster is hooked up, it looses about a quarter of a reservoir a day maybe a little more but it does not smoke. Its not running down any where inside or out. I figure its built up inside the booster and when I loosen the MC it will run out...LOL...

I would say from your explanation that the master is leaking into the PB unit. Which in time will swell up every piece of rubber in it. A new unit, alot of bucks. A rebuilt unit alot cheaper. Get the R&R'd unit and you should be good to go. Good luck.

only the turbo model DD is a direct bolt on .. they are very hard to find , so I just modified the U-joint , which is the problem with fitting a DD on these models . I swapped the 4WD inner shaft with a 2WD shaft , and used a 99 DD booster .. easy peasy , and 2wd's are usually easy and cheep to find parts from . you can see it on my Trekker build in the Vendor section
