Aftermarket intake manifold

Is a openhimer ( I know I spelled it wrong) intake manifold worth getting? Looks good and is for a 20r motor. Asking around 100 bucks and I have never heard of anyone changing the manifold on a 20r before. Thanks.

On a stock engine you might see a small gain, but to really gain anything from it your going to need a header and exhaust, and maybe a low to mid range cam to really gain some noticable performance.

Worth the hundred dollars? And is there any thing to know beforehand? Anything similar to the weber - lack of pcv valve thing?

You might notice a little power gain with just the intake, but if you could also add a header and exhaust that would help a lot also.

What i would do is get the intake, and then later on do a header and exhaust when you can afford it.
