FS[SouthCent]: 95 4Runner 4x4 SR5, 171,xxx miles $3500 N. Tex
#1
95 4Runner 4x4 SR5, 171,xxx miles $2900 N. Tex
In North Texas, just north of Dallas.
Was going to list my 4Runner a few weeks ago but it had a rough idle, after checking it out I figured out the head gasket was blown. Just completed all the top end repairs last weekend.
Need to sell to get money to buy a cargo van for my wife's flower business.
Not sure what these are going for now days, so I'll start at $2900 obo.
171,xxx miles
3.0 Liter V6, 4X4
A/C works perfect, as does heat
Power windows/locks/sunroof
Cruise control
Leather interior
Limo tint in the back and 10% up front
The bad --
Rebuilt (salvage?) title (is that bad? Not sure, didn't matter to me)
Hail damage
Cracked/chipped paint, slight body damage
Upholstery worn, cracked
Dash cracked
Looks like a vehicle you wouldn't mind taking off road, and getting some scratches and not worry too much about the inside getting muddy. . .
Front CV boots are cracked, (happened before I replaced hubs). Now with manual hubs the axles don't spin while they're free so the CV joints won't wear out. With the lift and highway speeds the CV boots were spinning even in 2wd with the stock hubs so they wore out really fast due to the angle.
The good!
Suspension --
Rear 3" lift with land cruiser springs, after market shocks
Custom fabricated Panhard bar bracket for rear axle
Drive shaft machined / balanced
Front 2.5" lift with ball joint spacers, after market shocks
2.5" Aluminum wheel spacers
Replaced locked front hubs with manual selectable hubs (can set to free while driving on roads, improves MPG doesn't unnecessarily spin the front axles)
(Brand new) sway bar link connectors
After the lift was installed it was aligned by a shop
16" aluminum wheels with 285/75/16 tires. (Cooper off brand)
Under the hood --
Within the last 5000 miles
Alternator swap, GM CS-144, 140/150amp alternator. (Stock is 70amp)
New radiator
Electric radiator fan conversion (fan from Mark VII)
Spark plug wires, cap and rotor
Fuel filter
Brand new -
Head gaskets replaced (And all gaskets that came with the head gasket kit) with Felpro head gasket kit
Head bolts replaced with Felpro head bolts
Water pump, timing belt, tensioner pulley, idler pulley, hydraulic tensioner all replaced with Gates timing belt kit (New Toyota OEM hydraulic tensioner)
Thermostat water outlet replaced
Air intake plenum tube replaced
Vacuum hoses, water heater hoses replaced (the ones that were cracked or brittle, about 50% of them)
NGK Spark plugs
After market muffler, stock cat.
Completed safety/emission inspection today and passed easily.
