White 4Runner + mud =
I went mudding really hard one time. Mud coated everything and is still underneath my 4Runner. It was a beast to clean, took probaly 4 hours to get it all off of the outside.

You only go muddin' like that ONCE in Georgia. After you borrow a pressure washer and spend 6hrs cleaning it out of every orafice on your truck and blacking you're tires out -- you won't do it again!

I used to play in the mud w/ my Taco, I didn't even mind cleaning it up. It was when the radiator would clog and the truck would overheat, when the starter would get clogged and crap out, when the alternator would choke and die, when it got into a rip in a steering rack boot and destroyed the rack...yeah, needless to say, while my '85 sees mud on the trail, which is inevitable, I take is slow and easy. Mud is fun at first, but it gets boring because it takes no skill, you just aim, crush the pedal, and hope that when you stop, you are on dry ground on the other side. Anyone who says mud takes skill is a n00b IMO.
When your engine looks like this, you can almost guarantee that SOMETHING is going to take a dump.
