We went to our offroad park recently and 10 minutes into the trip a jeep going up a hill broke a front passenger u-joint. So when I was going to the top I heard a loud BANG, I thought it was a body panel so didnt think much and started feeling some binding up. So I got on flat level and had them look at it while I turned in 4wheel drive and sure enough they said my driver-side tire was binding and popping. On my way home I put it in 4WD at around 40mph and you just heard a knock knock knock? They said its probably the front diff or a cv axle, the knocking sounds like a driveshaft to me though? Any thoughts? No pcs of my truck though cause it broke so fast lol.
