Toyota Tacoma Conquers the Great Outdoors

2016 Toyota Tacoma

Neither rain, nor sleet, nor snow stops this perfectly modded Yota truck from a raging good time.

We came across this tough and rugged 2016 Toyota Tacoma TRD Off-Road 4×4 beast on Instagram on the account of DavidsYota. This Tacoma lives the wild life off-road, and is driven by a seasoned driver who knows how to tackle any terrain, and gets great footage while doing so. He has also modded his Tacoma to perfection. David has captured his Toyota Tacoma in the mountains and the desert, climbing and drifting, in the dust and in the snow; all with an amazing and capable truck that we can’t get enough of.

David’s Toyota Tacoma has had some modifications including a 3” suspension lift in the front and 1” in the rear, some BF Goodrich tires, a C4 Fabrication Lo-Pro winch bumper was added, as well as a TRD PRO Grill. Also added were a Baja Designs S8 20” Lightbar and Miromoto Projector LED Fog Lights. For a full list of all modifications, check out DavidsYota page on Gear Project.

David also has a YouTube channel with some great how-to videos such as installing a Hi-Lift jack mount, and Lo-Pro winch bumper install instructions. They’re all great to watch, very informative, and helpful to any off-roading 4×4 fan.

But the real fun is seeing DavidsYota out in the wild, whether lending a helping hand (or winch), or getting dirty in the mud, it all inspires us to get out and get off-road.
