TV and movie star isn’t just a funny, multitalented guy. He’s also a big time Toyota fan.

Canadian born comedian Tom Green rocketed to fame back in 1999 courtesy of the incredibly popular MTV hit The Tom Green Show. His unique brand of shock humor led to years of success and a number of big-time movie roles. Oh, and he was married to Drew Barrymore for about a year in 2001. But, tragically, Green’s Hollywood career quickly took second stage to a cancer diagnosis. After successful treatment, the funny man attempted a return, but it appeared that the world had already moved on.

Today, Green still performs and makes random appearances around the globe. And by the looks of his Instagram page, the multi-talented performer is doing just fine, thank you very much. He recently spent some time down in Costa Rica, where he apparently owns a home. His jungle ride of choice? Nothing other than a sweet looking 1993 Toyota Land Cruiser.

Not only did Green pose with his beloved ride, but he’s posted a few videos from his travels around the rainy paradise. Which kinda seems sad. But as anyone who’s been to that part of the world knows, rain is pretty much inevitable. And when you’re tooling around in a legendary off-roader like a vintage Toyota Land Cruiser, those kinds of things don’t matter anyway.

For those of us who were (and are) fans of Tom Green, it’s just nice to know that he’s more than just a funny guy. He’s also, like us, a Toyota guy. And he wants to make sure that we all know that he’s very much alive and well, despite what you might’ve heard. After all, it’s hard to feel sorry for the guy while he’s cruising around paradise in a vintage Land Cruiser.
