GPS unit and Apple Computer

I have the Garmin 60C which works great with a PC - Topo map software from Garmin and the street software on the PC. My friend asked me if there is a GPS unit out there that can be used with the Mac computer. I couldn't find much. I see that there are units that can do the basic connection with a Mac but what about software? Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks...

National Geographic software

Jake... with the national geographic topo software, can you download maps to the GPS unit? With the Garmin software, I download the map to the unit and can look at it in realtime while on the trail..

Thanks.....
