If memory serves me correctly you can tap into the back of the mounted box with an RCA plug already there.

The remote box for the CB has a 1/4" jack built into it. I just bought a Cobra Highgear speaker, I'm sure other speaker brands have the same jack, and plugged it into the remote box. Simple as that.
