Sub box dimensions and type of subwoofer?

Ahhoy!! My first post at the forums.

Anyways, I was wondering what type of sub and subwoofer box dimensions to fit in an 87' Pickup (Standrad Cab). I would like to not have to put the seat forward to much either. Any ideas? Or blueprints for a box? And if you would happen to know of any pictures of subwoofers behind 87 Pikcups seats I would also appreciate it. Thanks alot mates.

Welcome! This portion of Yotatech isn't always too busy, so I thought I'd help ya out. You're definitely limited to either an 8", a 10", or a Bazooka subwoofer. I'd recommend looking on sounddomain.com to browse what others have done. I'm not sure how much technical type skill you have but fiberglass would maximize your space back there. If I were to tell you what I'd do I'd put either an 8 or 10" Image Dynamics IDQ series sub in a sealed box, with fiberglass if possible.
