replacing JBL speakers - Camry

I have the JBL audio in my 2002 Camry XLE.

I have a pair of pioneer 3 way 6*8 speakers with me. (Pioneer TS-A6870R, 2 to 50 watts rms, 220 Watts peak, 90 DB)

I was thininking of changing the front door speak with these and remove the JBL speakers. I'll leave the back one alone...

Any opinions on if the sound will be better?

thx

Im pretty sure you have 6.5's in the front doors. I know the grille opening looks like s 6x9, but i dont believe it is....

And it also depends on the actual system too; does the lower speaker in the door play just mid's and lows with a tweeter in the sail panel? Or is the lower speaker indeed a full range too with the above tweeter? Often times the only way to tell is to hook up the lower speaker and listen to see if it's utilizing it's own tweeter system. If so you are good to go.

Have you pulled off your door panels yet? In all honesty toyota's are easy as pie to get the door panels off of.
