Just got my sub and amp in my 3rd gen, damn it's loud!!

Last night I stayed at work and went ahead and ran my 1/0 gauge wire and wired up my Diamond Audio D61500.1 amp, and my co-worker Walt designed my box on Bassbox Pro(program he acquired when he was on Team Thunderforce), and installed my Diamond Audio D9 12 inch sub. I have to say.....DAMN this is loud! I haven't broken it all the way in yet, so after a couple more days I am gonna meter it on our dB meter at the shop. I will post up what I am hitting. I will take some pics after we get my false panels done. Gonna get some tan vinyl and color match it all with the interior.

Here is my amp, BTW it has 4 40 amp fuses, suckin some current!:

Here is my sub:

In about a week I am going to get 2 pairs of the HEX components and the D6 600.4 4 channel amp to match my sub amp. I can't wait!

Does the d61500.1 replace the d51200.1? and also the d9 12 replace the tdx?

Well yes kind of. There is no longer the D51200.1, but now they have a D61000.1, and a D61500.1. So they did away with the one and came out with two. Yes the D9 is virtually the same as the TDX except the name and the cone and dust cover are black now. They used the CM3 dust cover on the new D9. Also, now the CM3 subs are D3, M6 subs are D6, and so on.

Well, right after I posted that my wife wanted to drive the 3rd gen again, so I took over my 02 Mustang GT again and that is what the amp and sub are in. Last week I smoked the sub so I am sending it out this Thurs when the rest of warranty items ship out. After I get it back in I will snap some pics of the setup in the stang!
