Talking here goes nothing...avic n1 install

i just recently purchased a pioneer avic n1 mmmmm. BUT the head unit has a "short" in it. everything else is a ok. if there is anyone that has installed one of these before or knows anything about them the help would be greatly appreciated.
1) where the hell is my speed sensor wire for a 1997 sr5? i dont even know where to start looking.
2)where should i put the hide away
3) is there anywhere cheaper than pioneeer (200$) that can fix the short? ebay maybe?
4)what do you think?

short? that sounds bad. at our store, pioneer stuff only went back to pioneer.

"VSS green/orange instrument cluster of ecm Notes: The ECM is behind the glove box. "

thats from the directechs site. you can prolly hide your hideaway behind the glovebox possibly.

I think you should post some pictures when you get that thing in...

I'd be interested to see how it went and how the finished project looks
