Amp questions 2mono vs 1-2channel

I am trying to build my system (if you haven’t seen my 8 or more post already). Well here goes to another question.

1- 2 channel amp OR 2- mono amps?

I want to run each sub with about 200-300 watts, so what would be better? Having a single 2 channel amp or two mono amps, which would be better? I know with a 2 channel amp I don’t lose my stereo effects, but do you really notice the stereo sound/effects with subs?

My Box design: 2 sealed or 2 ported (depends on sizing) boxes. One on the left side and one on the right side, because I am trying not to lose any cargo room. So my box is going to be built around the wheel well and hopefully have some storage holes.

Bass is non-directional, you won't notice any loss of left/right stereo separation.

Get two mono amps, it'll sound a LOT better.
