Blue,
Can you post a photo of exactly how you attached these suckers? Did you just loop a u-bolt through that strap that holds the speaker onto the pod? I'm thinking of trying to do this mod this up-coming weekend.

Ah....nifty. I'm trying to replicate your efforts this week. Well, it also involves repairing the quarter panels in which the previous owner installed some 6x9 speakers. Whatever I end up doing, this is definitely a trick install. Very nice.

The roll bar speakers sound way better then any panel setup.
The cargo panels are tough to find in good shape. Took me a while to find a good set of rear seat panels to swap mine out. And now I even have another set of uncut rear seat panels. Guess it's time to start craigslisting the extra stuff

Yeah, the panels look like garbage right now. But, I was thinking of having my wife re-cover them in some other type of material. Not sure how that will come out.
As for the pods, I'm having a bit of trouble finding the exact "ports" that you guys used. I've found some on Amazon that are the same manufacturer but slightly different.
Take a look: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...pf_rd_i=507846
Let me know what you guys think.

I think those are the same. Honestly for that price you should get a PVC cap a make a hole in it to port. You can always make it bigger.

Mine are actually wakeboard tower speakers. They normally go for $300 plus, but another member (Vital22re) found a set on craigslist for $50 and I jumped on them.

Maybe you get special discounts on the rock. The home depot at center and orchard has those for 15 a piece. Just saying. And congrats on the free speaks.
