ya i think the pickup would work good but may be hard to find. i found a 3rd gen rear door on craigslist and had the guy measure it and it pretty much the same width as my second gen so right now im leaning towards that but tomorrow ill call around the junkyards and se if they will let me cut off the back section of the cab

thanks man, im actually not sure if i will end up putting a slider in there or not i was kind of thinking about getting a lexan one made but im not sure it will probably be whichever one is cheaper. and tomoorrow i will hopefully have plenty of updates because i will be working on it all day.

well today the back piece all cut so its fits in there now. its near 100 degrees so i figured that was good enough for today plus i need to pick up some sheet metal anyways.

thanks man, this week i will mostly just gathering some supplies. i need to get a piece of sheet and some seam filler. im also thinking about taking it to the sheet metal fab shop and having them make some panels to cover the inside sides of the bed and some sort of caps for the top of the sides

wow that looks amazing, ive always wanted to do this to mine... i wanted to move the window sill forward like you originally were doing, cap the bed up and sheet metal it out and re use the rear glass and make it removable some how... the day i smash one of my rear windows out it will happen... good luck... subscribed=)

It's now a "double-cab 4runner"...VERY nice chop!

Your going to have to get creative with those rear body mounts and make/drill/weld new ones...or cut right up to them.
