Yeah, I did both, The plates are stitch welded and then a stock replacement bolt runs through the plate, floor and then the stock mount on the frame.

It runs about $5 to $7 bucks a foot. I used about 60 feet on my cage. Also if you can't find Chromoly at your local steel supply try aircraft supply stores or shops around airports. There's a place in Corona, Ca. called Aircraft Spruce ( www.aircraftspruce.com ) that will ship it and you don't have to get 20' piece's, they will sell and cut it at any size as long as it's over 2'.

now all you need is a cagle of gauges!!!

your cage looks sick man, I like the cast iron grey type finish

I have fought the urge to put one in my 97...but after seeing yours.. I may have to do it down the road...must have really stiffened it up, make it ride a little nicer, better road and trail feel

here are some gauge ideas for you HAHA!
