Yep, if you look on their website they have "lefty" which is a left hand drop gear driven case with your choice of gears. Or you could do duals.

I may just do this though. id have 4.0.1 gearing in the tcase. but if it was just 100 more for the adapter, im looking at 1000 for tcase and adapter if i get tcase from online or from a person I know, then get dshaft, for another 100, front end for 600, thats like 1800 right there. still under 2k.
but projects never go as planned in the budget anyways, im doing this regardless, ive changed my mind more then 1000 times and im tired of saying im going to do something and not do it. THIS IS GETTING DONE!!!

Jesse at HighAngle does top notch work.
But SHORTENING an driveshaft doesnt require the full bore expertise that he has...
Local driveline shop can shorten a driveshaft EASY. Look up Truck Stop places (i.e. that do big rigs etc)..
I had a shaft made at FloRig here in PA...

Basically you are doing the same thing Casey (nitrohotpants) did with the help of Steve Schaefer.

yeah Casey's is very similar except that mine is lighted up like xmas tree with all of the electronics, so i could just find any runner tranny, had to be 01-02,
the plan is this
make the entire front non add manual hubs, the truck will think its 4wd but when xfercase is engaged and hubs are locked, no need for 4wd comp as it will be in 4wd but the computer will think otherwise.

Get a 2001-2002 4x4 tranny, but use the T-case from a Taco. That way you can fool the trucks computers in thinking it's a 2WD. Taco's have a T-case that is push button actuated for 4wd and high/low range, so there will be no need to change the inside of the cab, other than adding a few switches. You can still use the front ADD system, but you'll need the solenoids from a manual tranny version.
As for an axle for SAS, the only options is a Diamond Axle housing with FJ-80 outers, that way you keep the ABS sensors......

little bit of a problem with the prerunner adapter
the 2 adapters together only cost 700, which isnt bad at all imo considering a new tranny can cost 800 cheaper and may not work.
the butt buster though, it can only take a passenger side drop case besides their lefty they built. or I could get a dual adapter but thats pretty much the downside.
I may just go this route anyways, will give me a beefy tcase of 4.0.1 gears or 4.7.1 and still use my tranny. I will use the driveshaft I have now and shorten it.
I may go ahead and buy front end parts first, put em in and just hope to get the money for the other crap real soon.

there is a bunch of people on TTORA that have done the taco 2wd to 4wd conversion. More or less the same thing you are doing. Also PM IRBIS about a 4x4 tranny with T-case. He has them for pretty cheap and they come as a pair. Good luck with the swap.

good news, just threw my name on a tranny in NC, way less miles then my tranny and in real good shape.
Installed? highly doubt it.
