Both 3rds will be going to ZUK's (gearinstalls.com) next week to have cryo'ed 5.29's installed. I'm ordering FROR's full floater kit next week also.

Let us know about the full float kit. I have been pondering it for the buggy. Most likely I will skip that though. I always manage to thrash the diff before the shafts. Having to cut corners to get the thing on the trails sooner...

I’m going full float because I’m planning to drive the 4Runner to and from the trails so I need as much strength as possible.

I was going to wait and do the floater next year but I trashed one of my rear axle bearings the last trip out and that was a Toyota bearing with only 10,000-15,000 miles on it.

Good luck with that Greg. Please take plenty of Pics!

I have all my SAS stuff, but I still need to rebuild the front axle.

I’m thinking this one was for Will.

But mine will be ready for sure and I’m hoping to even have the 3.4 swap finished and maybe if I’m lucky the full exo-cage.

I love how you spelled SE4RJ with a dollar sign, happy mistakes. Fill me in on what SOL means, I'm out of the loop.

That was no mistake LOL

Yea I have a lot planned. I'm just taking it one prject at a time. I'd really like to have my 3.4 in by then. We'll see what happens.

Bring on the SOL! I found a Mexican restaurant that has it sometimes.

Replaced my rear axle bearings tonight. What a pain in the A$$.

I decided to just replace the bearings instead of doing the Full Floater right now. I’ve been trying to conserve some $$$, plus trying to find an axle to rob spindles off of is a pain in the A$$. Now I have time to gather everything up and save up some more spare $$$. It’ll happen in a few months.

Spent some needed quality time with the 84 axle today. I don’t think that axle had ever been rebuilt. I got it completely disassembled and everything’s socking in a degreaser bath until tomorrow.

I’ll have some pictures tomorrow for you guys. I forgot to buy batteries today so I didn’t worry with it.

Consider it done! SOL is the best.

I have to add this story. When I was doing a job in Orlando one day after we finished up work we went out to a bar and got some drinks. I asked the bar tender if he had some SOL. He replied, “your just ˟˟˟˟˟ Out of Luck there guy”.
