3rd gen Prerunner tube type bumper build Q's.
Ok, I've read a lot of posts on building bumpers. Since most are about solid bumpers on 1st and 2nd gen's, this is for a prerunner style on a 3rd gen (96) Runner. I have found Crolison's info which is awesome, but I still have a few Q's.
I see in the pics where the mounting points are (i think). So my main questions are:
What size tubing (dia/wall thickness) is the average one made out of? I had a Reaper Racing one on my heavy Chevy and it was 3". None I see look the be that big. and the main horizontal running tube looks kinda puny in comparison to the rest of the truck.
How far in front of the grill are you putting the bumper? I ask this because in the pics it looks like the two front tubes comming up from the frame mounts are at a nice angle. But looking at my truck, if I were to put the tube about just in front of the existing bumper, those two tubes would be almost straight up.
What are you doing with the blinkers?
Here is a few pics of the look I'm after and a pic of the old heavy Chevy's bumper. Feel free to post any close up pics or any thing you might think would be helpful.

There is a write up for integrating the blinkers into the side markers pretty easily.
1 3/4" .120 wall DOM for the tube.
