now you have to go defend yourself on why you don't have a cage
it all started with someone wanting to see a taco with a flat bed and someone had to post one with a "flat cab"

Yeah, I just noticed that I don't think the axles are included in that price. I believe that's another $500. I believe the axles are from a Tundra and are modifed or maybe they aren't. There was some discussion on that a while back but I don't remember exactly what was said. I think that on a 3rd gen 4Runner maybe you can use stock Tundra axles, but maybe on a Tundra long travel they are modified. They also recommend 10" travel springs-I have no clue what my OME's are.

One of the taco guys I ride with had a set of tacoma shafts custom built that were prototypes using the Tundra outers. Wonder if that;s what they are doing?

they use a modified tundra axle, you actually trim the casing around the cv joint and reposition the boot, there is another thread going on right now about it, and to use it with manual hubs you must press the outer joint off and press the tacoma joint on. having to run modified cv's takes away greatly from the appeal of this kit, though at the lower price it is still appealing for a bolt on kit.
as for springs you pretty much have to run traditional coil overs, they make an upper shock mount that bolts into our upper strut mount that lets it accept an eye to eye shock, i believe the reason for this is that the lower shock mount is much further out on the control arm than factory.
in the end, the price of the arms falling $800 helps a lot but you still will end up with nearly a $1000 in shocks/coils on the front end and modified tundra cv's. i guess it is all in what you want, it is still really appealing to me but at that price you are getting close to a coil over SAS if you source a lot of used parts.
