redoing spring perches, brake line routing, and modding your driveshaft(either by getting a flange to replace the yoke on the 14b, or having your driveline remade with a yoke for the 14 bolt)

that said, a D60 or 9" is a better swap for a toyota if you need a bigger ring gear

what would be stringer on the D shaft doing the flange swap or redoing the shaft to accept a yoke

would be much slicker to use a flange on the yoke -- high angle driveline would probably be able to set you up with one. they're known for their fondness of toyota u-joints and have all kinds of flange conversions for american axles

Those diffs may be strong, but they are plain too big unless you wanna run at least a 44" tires to get any clearance at all...

you do realize how much wider the rear is gonna be compared to the front, right.

Got a buddy with 40's, ran a stock 8" rear (think with cromos) and a D60 front.
Throttle happy guy with way low crawler gears.

You should re-evaluate your build

Mine didn't. Broke 2 arb's and one ring/pinion. Needless to say, rear is pretty much bullet proof.

toy axles are pretty good units, unless you're crash. then they're a POS

keep in mind that a toy rear has 30 spline 1.3" shafts, get a V6 carrier and odds are unless you're crash, it'll be fine with up to 38s. front end shafts are now near bulletproof with bobby long's 30 spline birfields, i wouldn't hesitate to run 38s with them. of course, i've got a 4 banger, not a 4.3 with an SM465 and dual cases

14 bolts are best used for planting crops...
