Texas_Ace Profile of my 2000 4runner limited 4x4 build-up

Ok, after a lot of work I have got stage one build up done!

My truck is:

2000 Toyota 4runner Limited
3.4l V6
Auto Tranny (going to convert to Manual?)
Sunroof
And all the extras you could get with it. MSRP was $40,000 on it! REALLY, I didn?t think they were made that high either.

I got it used in April 2007 for $9600 with 125K and near perfect condition. Just needed the timing belt done and it was ready for anything.

So time for a formal interdiction of my ride (and yes I just want to show it off!).

WARNING! LOT AND LOTS OF PICS!

So here is an overall list of mods I have done thus far:

PEFORMANCE
MSD dis-4 + tach adapters
Short-ram intake with Cone filter (and a great sound)
Odyssey PC1700 battery
TRD oil cap
Added electronic fans
Tranny cooler
Stainless steel hoses
Silicone hoses for all the rest
Synthetic Fluid conversion
Full chassis lube (made a BIG difference)

BRAKING
Tundra Brake upgrade

EXTERIOR
Stainless Steel Grill Guard
Rear 100watt backup lights
REAL HID conversion headlights 4100K 35watt H4-2 bulbs (bulbs that have halogen on low bean and the sun on high beams, see below for pictures of what the lights look like at night)
Complete LED light conversion (except for the dash lights, getting to that soon)
Clear Corner lights
ALTEZZA rear lights in black
1.5? Inch wheel spacers (yeah I know they suck but they work until I can get my new ones?)
Rear light bar
3 TRD stickers (these are the premium model! Each adds 55HP instead of the normal 40HP!!)
Hood scoop (if ya?ll like it I will make it work)

OFF-ROAD ENHANCEMENTS
3 Hella 500?s in the front (2 with silverstars for driving lights and the other with 100watt light for off-road)
Extra fog lights for off road (yea there are a lot, no comments?)

INTERIOR
Built in power inverter
Fire extinguisher
Survival Kit
All-weather black mats

New stereo setup with the following:
Alpine Deck
Door speakers are EFX components. 6.5? in the front and 5.25? in the rear
DIYMA 12? 1000watt SQ sub in sealed box
A/S/D/ 5.25 amp (old school EXTREME HIGH QUALITY AMP) for the drivers
EFX 300 watt RMS high performance amp for the sub (will be adding a second sub and upgrading to an HD amp soon)
2 gauge wiring kits all around
12 disc CD-changer

Added LED electronic gauges:
Tranny temp
Oil pressure
Voltage

Now for the pics!

This is how i got it.

And here is what it looks like now: (the rally light has since been replaced with another hella 500)

And here are what my lights look like at night. The one looking at the road is what it looks like and the next shows what lights you saw on the road. The ones with the headlights on and the fogs off (except for the very first one) have the HID high beams on that is why they are so bright.

Some VERY bright map lights that i replaced the stock ones with.

And yes there is a little rice in all of us. Here are the LED setup on.

And here is a rechargable flashlight that i got at wal-mart for $8. It is LED and VERY VERY bright. The first shows it charging in the lighter and the next shows in shining on the road. I highly recomend this.

The rest of the currant mods will be shown in a few days.

Now for the Stage 2 mods to come:

Headers and new exhaust
New suspension setup with coils shocks and the whole nine yards. And of course a lift
New tires, not sure how big yet
SUPERCHARGER and all that goes with it except the tranny mods
Convert to a manual Tranny!
Dual lockers

Then who knows what?.

If you have any questions about any of the mods I can make a write-up of them. I know that a lot of them have already been done so I will let ya?ll tell me what you want and what not.

My thoughts on Gun control summed up quite nice:
