Sedonafest III June 5-7th 2009

Its that time of year again....time for SEDONAFEST!!!

Join us in one of the premier international destinations of the southwest - Sedona, Arizona - for the third annual Sedonafest off-road adventure, benefiting Disabled Explorers. Taking place June 5-7th, 2009, this year promises to be even bigger and better with new trails, the return of the GPS Challenge, the raffle to end all raffles, recovery demos, and more!

Registration will open at midnight February 2nd, and will be limited to 50 vehicles, so be sure to register early. Sedonafest 2009 will be taking place at the Chavez Crossing Campground located next to the beautiful Oak Creek. This is a family event so children and pets are welcome! Trail runs from scenic dirt roads to dry-wash rock crawling will be available, so take a look at the Trails section and choose wisely!

Truck registration fees for Sedonafest 2009 include: campsite reservation, Saturday trail runs, chili and cornbread dinner Saturday night, raffle ticket, GPS Challenge, recovery demos, and one T-shirt.

I just wanted to post up that registration has been open for 10 hours and we are already up to 28 trucks....over halfway filled! If you are interested in attending this year I'd register sooner rather than later cause once we hit 50 its over!!

SOAZ I expect to see you here this year, as you have missed the last two and we need more 4Runners to represent!

Registration is now closed as we have reached our max limit. If you missed out on registering and would like to be on the waiting list, please go to the registration page of sedonafest.com and fill out the waiting list form. Slots will be filled in the order in which they are received!

I will be sending out a reminder/confirmation email as we get closer to the event.

FYI we are allowing refunds until March 6th if anyone has to cancel. I know that isn't a ton of time, but we wanted to give people the option of getting their money back even if its a small window. Due to event planning we cannot issue refunds after that date, so consider it a donation!

There have been some minor changes to Sedonafest but nothing big....we will be sending out an email to all participants today which will include updates and new info on what to expect at the event.

I've also had a few people tell me they plan on 'crashing' the event and/or trail runs....all I can do is to ask kindly that if you are planning on doing this PLEASE DONT! We are already at max capacity for both the trail runs and parking at the campground...we cannot afford to feed extra people at the event on Saturday and we have a specific number of participants listed on our permit with the forest service. If anything is out of line we could be fined a very large amount!

I apologize if you missed out on registration, we didn't expect it to sell out so fast, but please if you didn't get in this year, plan on something else that weekend and hopefully you can make it out to Sedonafest 2010!
