California Yotatech meet '07 suggestions
How about around Shaver lake?
its about 250 miles from each major city. just a quick look around pulled some interesting trails. camping: http://www.fs.fed.us/r5/sierra/recre...perbilly.shtml trails: http://www.fresnobee.com/373/story/7064.html http://www.4x4wire.com/trail/report/ca/dusy03/ a start. anyone have any thoughts on the area?

If the URL's don't work for you guys... take out the ":" in the first one and the "
" in the second one on your URL bar.I would in for it, but we'd have to find people who will go for sure. I think Chris said he wouldn't be able to make it, so that leaves Jeff and Joey, but it'd be nice if we could get more people!

I went wheeling around shaver lake over the summer...we hit the red lake trail and the bald mountain trail. It was a good time. The red lake trail is rated 7/10. We had both IFS and SAS rigs....everyone made it, but everyone was also armored up good. This was the trail that ate my front 3rd member for lunch.
Dusy is only a few miles away from shaver lake, but from what I hear, it's pretty extreme.

I've been up there before, there is alot of small logging trails u can mess around on...really fun though
