That won't change the fact that that bracket is a rock anchor

I hate to be that guy, and take the wind of your sails, but this wont do much good. You'll just bend the mount at the frame instead of smashing up the lower part of the mount. And your beefy looking RLCA's will just speed up this procces. The only way to do it is to relocate the mounts if your serious about fixing this problem...How do I know??

True, these don't move the LCA mounts, just protects the soft fragile end. Just like anything, protect what you can and exercise good judgment. We add sliders to protect out doors and rockers. If you slam them hard enough you could bend or crack the frame. Just because you have heavy skidplates doesn't mean that nothing will happen if you bash a rock doing 60. I have seen skids collapse and break the mounts off the front diff and shove the diff into the engine.

These will add a level of protection to a vulnerable part that DOES hang a lot lower than we would all like to see. During the year of testing, we have dragged them up a lot of rocks and they have held up great, the frame too. Maybe they are not for everyone.

True, relocating the mounts would be better but these are a simple bolt on that anyone can do.

an earlier version.

I like 'em Gerdo. Seems like a wise idea to me.

Some folks would say rocks are rocks... but some of the small boulders we climb over and scrape against here are sharp edged and love to eat parts.

Nicely done. But wouldn't the next grade up of hardware (heavy duty) be a wise idea as well?

It was a version of a relief cut. It is not a swastika!

The spiral cut allows the bolt to cinch the skid against the mount.

One of the first production demos
