Upper Control Arms- ATS or Total Chaos?

I'd like to start wheeling my rig more often so I'm currently looking for ways to make it more trail worthy and bullet proof. I'm considering purchasing some replacement control arms to alleviate the strain on the upper ball joint, gain some additional droop, and avoid the rubbing once I go to 285/75/16" tires. After some investigation, it looks liek the ATS product now offered by Inland Trucks came first, and has a fairly simple design that works. Steve Schaefer is using them so that says a lot. However, it looks like Total Chaos now offers a shorter version of the upper control arms used in their long travel kit for use on Tacomas and late model 4Runners using spring-over lifts. I was wondering if anyone here had any experience or opinions one way or the other.

I'm presently running Old Man Emu springs and shocks all the way around, and getting ~2.25" lift in the front, and 3" in the rear. I'd also love to level it out but I'm not sure what the best way to do that is. I've just added a Revtek diff drop. Ideas?

Total Chaos

Inland Trucks(ATS Racing)

Considering ATS was one of the first successful designs out and the best, if you want to run stock ball joints. Three other companies are using the Uniball design in their set-up, which is stronger and no more ball joint problems. It does cost more, but look at what you're getting, beside if you did manage to wear out a uniball, they are much cheaper and easier to replace.

There is also a roll center geometry improvement with the change in position on the upper uniball!!

It reduces lateral scrub and helps stability

The Total Chaos arms are $650

I would personally go with all pro or camburg.
