Toyota front axel???

I am thinking of going to chromolys in the front. In yalls opinion would i the tougher axle would be to go with would be a birfield eliminator kit that converts the front like a dana 44 axle or go with longfields. The eliminators are 400, the longfields are 800. What yall think?????

Go longs. Everyone recommends them on here. Lifetime warranty too.. Can't beat that!

Search. Generally, what I have seen is the people with the Birfield eliminator kit are not real happy.

IMHO, 30 spline longs are the way to go. I think TrailGear has a knockoff now for cheaper.

I have the longfield chart at home that shows the breaking strength of the birf eliminator kit, I believe it was 4500lbs though. You can see how much stronger the longfields are.

Longfields are made in the USA, trail gear axles are made some where in China. Both work well, but I would rather spend a little more for the longs
