SuperLift suspension kits - any input?
I am considering this SuperLift 4" lift kit I found on E-Bay for my 1989 Toyota 4x4. Does anyone on here have this kit? Any input on it? Does this look like it comes with everything I would need?

Thanks much.

i have a superlift kit on my 4Runner and i have been very pleased with it. as far as bracket kits go, it's definitely the best out there, mainly because it uses one-piece drop crossmembers. that price is about average for the truck kits and i'm sure it will come with everything you need.

Thanks for the input!
I see the seller has 2 different SuperLift kits available at very different prices. I can't really see what's making a $400 difference in price on these kits:
$599 kit - http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=33585
$991 kit - http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...PcN_BIN_Stores

The cheaper lift comes with a lift block and add a leaf rear spring for the rear while the more expensive kit has a new set of springs to lift the rear. I have rear blocks as part of my lift, but I have read that new lift springs are better for ride quality and off-roading flex.
The front crossmembers in the Superlift kit are much better than the drop brackets found in other kits like pro-comp.
The $599 kit is identical to the one I have on my T100. For minor off-roading and wheeling it works fine. I don't know if this was already mentioned, but when you install the new steering knuckles it changes the available wheel spacing so you must get new wheels with 3.75" of backspacing. A lot of people buy 15" wheels when they do this as there used to be more sizes of tires for 15 inchers and the prices are less than for 16 inchers.
