Jet Pack Anyone?

I am wrapping up my plans to ARB lock my 4Runner and I just recently saw the Powertank/ARB Jet Pack.

If you didn't know about it (like me) it's a tiny 20 ounce CO2 system to run your air lockers off of.

I would love to have this over a compressor because I could mount the bottle inside the cab as it make no noise and vents no gear oil. Also, it is less likely to fail, uses no electricity and takes up no extra room in the cramped 4Runner engine bay.

I don't mine paying the extra cash for it.

I'm just wondering is anyone has any opinions or experiance with it. I'm curious as to how it interfaces with the electric ARB switches and if you have to buy a lot of "nickel and dime" parts to make the install work or if it is pretty simple.

Thanks,
Lamm

That would work or even the regular Powertank which would also give you the advantage to use to air back up with.

Drop owner Steve Sasaki an email or give him a phone call.

Well my master plan is to mount a 1st gen roll bar, 10 LBS powertank on one side, large fire extinguisher on the other and put the jetpack in a side storage compartment or maybe also on the roll bar.

I will "go direct" and see what I can find out.

For ~$300 you could buy a helluva compressor, put it where you're thinking of doing the Powertank and never have to worry about running out of air...
