Exclamation Cornfed lift Shock question

i just purchased a cornfed lift from burtman industries (2.5 in front, 2.0 in back) http://www.burtmanindustries.com/zoo..._96_02_liftkit It is made to use the factory size shocks, but the ride will be a little stiffer, Has anyone done this lift or know of a softer rideing shock i could use, the local 4wheelparts tells me i would not be able to get a longer shock unless i buy a kit. any help would be greatly appreciated

There's no reason that the ride will be stiffer.
You aren't changing the valving on the shocks, nor the existing spring rate with the spacers.
What you will loose is several inches in overall travel (flex).
