bias ply or irocks
im looking at getting a set of new tires and was looking at some feed back from poeple i currently run 33-12.5-15 tsl bias ply on 8" rims i was looking at going 36" in either the irock or the tsl bias ply both close in price so that does not matter i do alot of muddy trails, rock climbs ect. which would recomend irock or tsl bias ply. thanks

I drove a work truck with bias plys, it sucked.
Your 4x4 seemes like a trail rig though. I recomend TSLs, they will be better in mud, good in rocks and cheaper to replace if a rock shreads one. IROCKS seem to offer about the same performance with "modern" looks and a much higher price.

my bias ply tires are only kind of crappy when it's cold, since they flatspot. not that big of a deal though.
IROKs are good tires from all i've heard, though not quite as good in the regular TSL in the mud. however they're supposedly very sticky when it comes to rocks

I just bought a set of 36" bias IROKS for my rig. One factor is that the IROKS were cheaper but they are still a good tire. The outer lugs are cupped like bogger lugs so they rock in the mud and the lugs are all siped so they have greater traction on many surfaces then TSLs. The slightly more narrow TSL is better for digging down in the mud as opposed to floating a little more with the Iroks. One drawback to the Irok is that they are a softer rubber so they will probably wear faster then the TSL.
